Always Room for Improvement:
While I’m happy with the current design, there’s always space to grow. Here are some additional UI/UX considerations for the future:
- Enhanced Search Functionality: Implementing autocomplete features in the search bar could further expedite finding specific courses and tutors.
- Granular Course Filtering: Adding filters based on price, time, or student ratings (if applicable) would allow students to personalize their search results and find the perfect fit.
- Data-Rich Course Cards: Current class cards display subject and grade level. Adding details like class time, schedule, and other relevant information empowers students to make informed decisions.
- Visual Hierarchy Optimization: Refining the homepage layout will ensure the most important information, like the search bar and course cards, are the most visually prominent for users.

Strategic Decisions:
- Prioritizing Onboarding: I designed a clear and concise login screen with easy-to-understand labels and a prominent “Register” button. This encourages new users to join effortlessly.
- Empowering User Management: Managing profiles should be simple. The user profile section provides easy access to essential details alongside edit icons for quick updates. This empowers students to maintain accurate information.
- Facilitating Course Discovery: Finding the right learning resources is crucial. I implemented a central search bar on the homepage, allowing students to quickly find specific courses or tutors and streamline their exploration of learning options.

UI/UX Design Decisions:
- Clarity: Clear labels and messages guide users through every step, minimizing confusion.
- Ease of Use: A user-friendly interface with intuitive features allows students to navigate and interact with the platform effortlessly.
- Efficiency: The central search bar promotes efficient course discovery, saving valuable student time.

We designed a comprehensive digital marketing campaign to boost awareness and generate leads for Aspire College’s PDIDM program. Here’s how we achieved it:
Design Considerations:
- Visual Identity: We’d ensure all marketing materials (ads, social media posts, landing pages) align with Aspire College’s overall branding. This includes using consistent colors, fonts, and imagery to create a recognizable and professional visual identity.
- Compelling Visuals: We’d leverage high-quality visuals, such as infographics, explainer videos, and professional stock photos, to grab attention on social media and landing pages. The visuals should be relevant to the target audience and visually represent the program’s benefits.
- Clear Calls to Action: All marketing materials would have clear and concise CTAs, such as “Download Free Guide,” “Register Now,” or “Contact Us.” These CTAs should be strategically placed and easy for users to follow.
- Mobile-Responsive Design: We’d ensure all digital marketing materials are optimized for mobile devices, as many users access information on their smartphones. This includes responsive landing pages and social media posts that display well on various screen sizes.
Target Audience Research: We identified potential students in Sri Lanka interested in digital marketing careers or upskilling in this field.
Multi-Channel Marketing: We leveraged a strategic combination of digital marketing channels to reach a wider audience:

Search Engine Advertising (SEA): Implemented targeted ads on search engines like Google Ads for users searching for “digital marketing courses Sri Lanka” or similar terms.
Social Media Marketing (SMM): Created engaging social media ads and organic posts on platforms like Facebook,Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The ads targeted individuals interested in digital marketing and potentially used an image similar to the one you provided to visually represent the program.
Content Marketing: Developed informative blog posts about digital marketing trends, the advantages of a digital marketing career, and the unique value proposition of Aspire College’s PDIDM program. This content was optimized for search engines and shared on social media or the Aspire College website, potentially highlighting the program’s approval by the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) Ireland.
Lead Capture & Conversion Optimization: We ensured Aspire College’s website captured leads effectively through strategic landing pages and clear calls to action.

- Campaign Tracking & Analysis: We closely monitored the campaign’s performance across all channels to optimize strategies and maximize lead generation.
Results (Hypothetical):
- Increased website traffic from individuals interested in digital marketing programs.
- A significant rise in qualified leads generated for the PDIDM program.
- Measurable growth in program registrations for the September 2023 intake (or a different intake depending on the campaign timeframe).

Compelling Call to Action: A prominent call to action button reading “Book Your Safari” is strategically placed at the bottom of the hero image. This button placement makes it easy for users to take the next step after browsing the homepage.
Focus on User Experience: The website prioritizes user experience with a focus on clear and easy navigation, high-quality visuals, and a prominent call to action button.
Emotional Appeal: The hero image and the use of words like “unforgettable” and “dream vacation” create an emotional connection with the user, targeting their desire for adventure and exploration.
Social Proof: Adding testimonials from satisfied customers to the website would add social proof and build trust with potential users.
Targeted Content: The webpage uses targeted content that focuses on the leopard safari, likely appealing to users who are particularly interested in seeing leopards.
Highlighting Unique Selling Points: The webpage strategically highlights the unique selling points of the leopard safari, such as the chance to see leopards in their natural habitat and the expertise of the guides. This approach positions the safari service provider as a trusted authority on leopard safaris in Sri Lanka.
User Engagement: The webpage uses bullet points to present information about the leopard safari in a clear and concise way, making it easy for users to digest the details. This approach is likely to improve user engagement with the content.
Brand Positioning: By highlighting their ethical approach, the safari service provider positions themself as a responsible and trustworthy company, which can give them a competitive advantage.

Expected Outcome:
Increased website traffic, improved user engagement, and ultimately, a rise in bookings for the safari service provider.
